Custom Printed Pouch Service – Artwork
We’re using a digital surface print processes using CMYK colours – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. When creating your artwork it’s important to ensure you file is made with CMYK colours too and not RGB colours that are using for online graphics viewed on a screen. PDF files in a minimum of 300DPI are preferred.
Surface printing a pre-made pouch is not easy due to the multiple layers and thicknesses for features like the zipper, gusset and optional window. We have to be mindful of these different thicknesses and the sealed area on the edge of pouch, so we keep the print away from them to ensure the print quality is consistent.
If you want to create your own artwork, here’s a template for our 250g Stand Up Pouch that shows the non-printable areas in purple and printable areas in grey. We’ll add more templates for other sizes soon.
If you don’t have an artwork prepared for your custom pouches, we can help and charge a fee of £60 per design. We’ll share a preview of the design by email before printing, so you can approve it or request some changes.
We always send one printed sample pouch before we go ahead with the full order quantity so you can be completely sure about the design, regardless of who made it.
